Pricing
Telebase pricing: $0.05 per query
Telebase costs $0.05 per query, with no annual commitment and no subscription. Invalid numbers and failed requests are not charged. Every account starts with 100 free queries, so you can run real lookups before you buy anything. Credits are purchased as prepaid packages and never expire.
Volume pricing
$0.05 per query is the standard rate, and it covers every signal in one call: carrier, country, number type, active status and the launching SIM swap field. There are no tiers, no add-ons and no signals priced separately.
Larger volumes are priced lower. If you are planning production traffic, get in touch and we will quote against your expected volume.
How billing works
One credit is deducted per query that we answer. Invalid numbers and failed requests are not charged, so you never pay for malformed input or for our downtime. The table below is the complete rule.
| Outcome | Charged |
|---|---|
| Lookup returns telecom data for the number | Yes |
| Lookup completes but the number has no carrier record | Yes. A confirmed absence of record is a result, and it is often the most useful one |
simSwap returns UNKNOWN while the other signals return normally | Yes. The query is charged once at the flat rate; SIM swap availability does not change the price |
| Number is invalid, malformed or cannot be parsed to E.164 | No |
| Upstream provider times out or fails | No |
Telebase error, rate limit (429), authentication failure (401) or insufficient credit (402) | No |
Accounts are provisioned with 100 free queries when set up, enough to run your first lookups end to end; see the quickstart guide for what that first request looks like.
There is no recurring billing and nothing renews automatically. During the preview, credits are added by arrangement: email hello@telebase.io and we will invoice you.
Refunds
Unused credits can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, and partially used packages are refunded for the unused remainder in that window. Credits already deducted for completed lookups are non-refundable. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
