1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing telebase.io or using the Telebase API, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Telebase on behalf of a company or AI Agent deployment, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

2. The Service

Telebase provides a data abstraction layer for telecom intelligence. We provide data retrieved on an "as-is" basis from third-party providers, including Vonage and Twilio. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of carrier or line-type data.

3. API Credits and Billing

  • Pay-as-you-go: Telebase operates on a credit-based system. Each successful query deducts $0.03 (or the current specified rate) from your balance.
  • No refunds: Credits purchased via Paddle are non-refundable.
  • No minimums: There are no monthly platform fees or minimum spends, unless otherwise negotiated via an Enterprise contract.
Billing and payments are handled by Paddle, who acts as Merchant of Record. All invoicing, VAT handling, and receipts are issued by Paddle on behalf of Telebase.

4. Telecom Data and Carrier Authorisation

You authorise your mobile carrier to disclose your mobile account details for the purpose of verifying your identity. Those details may include your name and address.

You authorise your wireless carrier to use or disclose information about your account and your wireless device, if available, to Telebase or its service provider for the duration of your business relationship, solely to help identify you or your wireless device and to prevent fraud.

See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Telebase for any of the following:

  • Spamming or illegal telemarketing
  • Harassment or stalking
  • Bypassing emergency service regulations
  • Reverse-engineering the API to scrape bulk data without authorisation
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

Telebase is a pass-through service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from downtime, incorrect carrier data, or your AI Agent's actions based on our API responses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Telebase's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Telebase in the three months preceding the claim.
